1.    Terms

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before applying as a member to Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association.

Your access to apply of the membership is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all applicants.

By applying you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not to apply and send you application for membership.

This Terms (the “Agreement”) are effective between Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association (hereinafter the ‘Association’) and Applicant (hereinafter the ’Member’) upon the following terms and conditions. 

Association and the Member may individually be referred to as ‘Party’ or collectively as ‘Parties’.

WHEREAS, the parties wish to engage together in the development of local tourism industry and, to further that objectives.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and of the mutual covenants and benefits herein the Partners agree as follows:


Association reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at the sole discretion of Association.

Membership Fees.

Member agrees to pay to the annual membership fee, determined in accordance with the membership fee schedule. The fees for Members for the following year shall be confirmed by the Executive Board prior to end of each financial year. Membership fee schedule starts after Applicant confirms the Terms and are non-refundable.

Budget and Expenses.

The budget and expenses report of Association shall be provided during annual General Assembly among others including:

  • Report on income from membership fees and sponsorships,
  • Total expenses report.


This Agreement shall come into effect upon its confirmation by the both Parties and shall be in force during 1 (one) year. The Agreement will be prolonged for another 1 (one) year if none of the Parties notify each other in writing not later than 60 (sixty) calendar days prior to the date of the termination of this Terms and Conditions.

Termination of Membership
The affiliation of Member or Associate may be terminated through voluntary resignation or through involuntary termination by Association.

The Executive Board may terminate the affiliation of Member with the Association:

  • When member’s activities defame the Association, damages its reputation;
  • When member delays payment of membership fee
  • When member acts contrary to the purposes of Association defined in its Charter.

In case the Executive Board decides to terminate the membership, Member shall have the right to appeal such a decision to Executive Board of Association.

This Terms and Conditions shall be legally binding if Applicant confirms it only by marking the check box and Association confirms the application send by Applicant in written form.
