Article 10. Tourist guides
10.1. The certification of tourist guides is voluntary and is carried out as a result of the assessment of their knowledge and skills by accredited conformity assessment institutions in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Accreditation in the Field of Conformity Assessment".
10.2. According to Article 10.1 of this Law, certified tourist guides have the right to free access to state and municipal museums and galleries, as well as state reserves.
10.3. For the promotion of certified tourist guides, the state tourism body uses the rating tables formed in the Tourism Register.
The certification procedure is carried out by the Certification Authority of Tourist Guides operating under the public legal entity "Azerbaijan Tourism Board".
