ATGA represents and supports Tourist Guides. We offer ongoing professional skills and career development opportunities which can be utilized Azerbaijan wide, as well as on the international level.
ATGA's high standards require all new professional Guides members to pass the attestation and accreditation process provided by ATB: Azerbaijan Tourism Board. ATGA also organizes many quality improvement training for guide members. This quality requirement offers a circle of safety, to the wider Azerbaijan Tourism and Incentives industry, and adds great value and peace of mind when using the services of ATGA.
ATGA is also a member of WFTGA and is implementing the WFTGA standards in the country.

Tural Musayev is the Secretary-General of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association. Was born on January 20, 1988, in the city of Ganja. For more than 11 years he lived in the capital of Austria, Vienna, where he graduated from high school. In 2013 he received a bachelor's degree in business management from the Vienna University of Economics.
In 2007-2009, Tural Musayev worked at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Austria, and later at the DAWF German-Azerbaijan Economic Union. In 2015, he began his professional career in the field of tourism. In 2017 - 2019, he worked as Director of Business Development in five travel agencies at the same time.
Since 2019, he has been the Secretary-General of the newly created Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association.
Sakina Askerova was born on August 15, 1990, in Nakhichevan. In 2013 she graduated from the Law Faculty of Baku State University.
In 2010 she started her professional career in the tourism industry. Until 2015, she worked as a research and development specialist at the Azerbaijan Tourism Institute. In 2016 - 2018 she worked as Deputy Director in the Department of Career and Communications at the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University. Since August 2018, she is working in the Azerbaijan Tourism Board as a Manager of Industry Associations.
She is also the co-founder of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association.
Diana Damirova was born in 1971 in the city of Baku, where she graduated from high school. In 1994 she graduated from the philological faculty of the Baku Slavic University. By profession, she is a teacher of the Russian language and literature.
Since 2007, she has been working as a tour guide in Azerbaijan and has led numerous tours in Azerbaijani and Russian. She took part in numerous trainings, including in 2015 she successfully graduated from professional guide courses organized by the United Nations Development Program.
In July 2019, she became a co-founder of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association.
Asya Shiraliyeva - was born on March 2, 1952, in the village of Charkhan, Shamakhi region. In 1975 she graduated from the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. By profession, she is an English teacher.
She built her professional career in Azerbaijan at the National Carpet Museum, where she worked as deputy director and is currently an expert advisor. In 2013 she was awarded the title "Honorary Worker of Tourism", and in 2017 the title of "Honored Worker of Culture".
She is a member of the executive board of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association since 2019.
Yahya Bayramov - was born on September 9, 1979, in the city of Baku, where he graduated from the school in 1996. In 2003 he graduated from the internship of the Azerbaijan Medical University.
Since 2002, Yahya Bayramov has been conducting research and working in the field of auto tourism. From the same year to 2007 he worked as a sales manager in three different companies. In 2014-2016, he carried out logistics for the Japanese Embassy in Azerbaijan.
In 2019, he was a former Secretary-General of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association, currently he is a member of the executive board of ATGA.
Nailya Islamova was born on June 13, 1985, in the city of Baku, where she graduated from school. In 2010 she graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Azerbaijan International University.
In 2002 - 2007 Nailya Islamova worked as an office manager in various companies. Later she worked as an English teacher at City of Learning for a year. Since 2007, she began her professional activity in the field of tourism. In 2014, she founded the educational center "Live and Learn" in which she is the director.
She is a member of the executive board of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association since 2019.
Ilhama Kazimova was born in Baku on December 19, 1969. In 1992 she graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, Faculty of English-French languages. In 2007 she graduated from the French language courses at the Cultural Center of France.
From 1995 - 1998 she worked as an English teacher at the Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages. In 2003 - 2009 she was the head of the international relations department of the state historical and architectural museum - "the palace of the Shirvanshahs". Since 2009, she has been the head of the department in the tourism department at the Palace of the Shirvanshahs.
She is a member of the executive board of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association since 2019.
Zamina Rasulova - was born on March 14, 1983, in the city of Sheki, where she graduated from high school. In 2004 she graduated from the Sheki Pedagogical College. By profession, she is an English teacher.
Since 2004 she has been working as a tour guide in the national historical and architectural reserve "Yukhary Bash" in Sheki. 2017, she was awarded an honorary diploma for services in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage. In March 2020, she was awarded the "Progress" medal for effective work in the public life of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She is a member of the executive board of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association since 2019.
Javad Aghayev - was born on August 16, 1984, in Shuvelan settlement, Baku city. In 2005 he graduated from the Faculty of European Studies and International Relations of Azerbaijan University of Languages. His specialization is International Relations. He started his professional career as a researcher at the Gala State Historical Ethnography Reserve. He participated in the archaeological excavations organized by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan in East Absheron. In 2015, he successfully completed the guiding courses of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and is currently an independent tourist guide. In 2019 he successfully passed the "WFTGA" Hands On Tourist Guiding and in 2021 Train the Trainers trainings. Since 2023, he is a member of the executive board of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association.
ATGA aims to become a single collective voice of all guides and key players in enhancing the professionalism of Azerbaijan’s guiding industry.
