A meeting was held within the framework of the “Global Tourism Initiative on Plastic Products” project.

On September 21st, at the initiative of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, representatives of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association , Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan and  Azerbaijan Hotel Association held a meeting at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources within the framework of the World Tourism Organization's "Global Tourism Initiative on Plastic Products" project.

At the meeting, as a result of the request proposed by Tural Musayev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association the creation of a mutual cooperation for the cleaning of waste on touristic places, objects and routes important to the guides and the holding of educational events for the members of the Association in future events were discussed.
