Members of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association, participants of the Karabakh webinar and war veterans who are members of ATGA visited Shusha after 30 years of occupation.
It was amazing to see this legendary city of Shusha, where the famous khan Bulbul Shushinsky was born, where the daughter of the last Karabakh khan lived, the famous poetess Natava, who visited Alexander Dumas, the symbol of the city, the Flower of Kharibulbul.
The participants visited the mausoleum of the poet Molla Panah Vagif, the House of Bulbul, the Performing Committee, the Albanian Church and the Geghar Mosque.
Mrs Fazila, a guide living in Shusha, conducted a tour of the ATGA guides. She gave detailed information about the history of the city before the occupation, the work done today, the restoration of the city and sights.
The tour ended with lunch at the "Goch et" restaurant.
We have been working on this visit for a long time so that our guides can visit the liberated city of Shusha and see all the beauty of this city with their own eyes. On behalf of ATGA, we thank the State Tourism Agency, Special Representative of the President for Shusha Aydin Karimov, Management of the Reserves Management Center of the State Tourism Agency, Representative of the Board of the Shusha State Reserve Maftun Abbasov and AAI staff for ensuring our safe movement.
