I am a tour guide, Bahruz Asadli
I was born in Azerbaijan and speak Azerbaijani, English, Turkish, Persian and intermediate Russian. As a tour guide, my target is to provide clients with an unforgettable experience by showcasing the best that a destination has to offer. To achieve this, it's important to have experience with the destination before the tour begins. One of the keys to being a successful tour guide is to go beyond the well-known tourist attractions and explore the hidden gems of the destination. This could include local markets, cafes and shops that are off the beaten track and not frequented by tourists. These places can offer a more authentic experience and provide an opportunity for guests to immerse themselves in the local culture.
While the tourists are waiting with excitement and curiosity for the start of the next journey, I am already preparing for their arrival. For me, being a tour guide has always been an adventure that allows me to share my love and knowledge of my country with my guests, allowing guests to enjoy the tour and being as flexible as possible, giving them comfort and freedom of choice at the same time.
Making ensuring my guests are safe is one of my primary responsibilities as a tour guide. Every journey they take, I accompany them, doing my best to assist and help them get past any minor obstacles brought on by cultural and mental differences.
I aim to provide my visitors with a true, "for locals" perspective of Baku and other places. I will be happy to show you the Caspian Sea, the most picturesque villages, historical sites, and all of its hidden gems. I will also encourage you to sample some flavorful Azerbaijani tea and local pastries. Try to travel to Shaki, Shamakhi, Gabala, Ismayilli, Lahij, and Khinalig (a 5000-year-old settlement) as well as Shaki's historical landmarks.
Try to visit Shamakhi, Shaki with its historical sites, Gabala with its fascinating nature, Guba, Ismayilli, Lahij and Khinalig (5000 years old village ).
