Hello! My name is Jabrayilova Elnara Sardar. I graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages in 1998 and 2004 respectively with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Translation (Azerbaijani-English/English-Azerbaijani), and in 2017 from the Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, and I am currently studying Psychology at the Baku State University. The qualification I recieved in all three specialities plays an important role in my activity as a tourist guide. I am even planning to combine the knowledge and skills I gained during the 1.5 month yoga training in Mumbai city of India in 2018 with my guiding profession in the future.

In 2011, after completing the “Tourist Guide” course organized at the Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic, I left for Greece and lived there for a year related to my PhD study. During that time I chanced to travel many places within and outside the country including Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Those trips helped me better understand what it means to be a tourist. Therefore, I always try my best to meet the interests and wishes of my tourists who come to Azerbaijan from different parts of the world. I do everything in my power to make sure that they leave our country only with good impressions.

I love my job, and it gives me a special pleasure to communicate with people from different cultures and share our cultures mutually. It is my love for the profession as a tourist guide that prompted me to leave my 20-year teaching career.

My favourite kinds of tourism are hiking, extreme and rural turism.
