I have been working as a tourist guide since 2016. Although I started my career as a translator, my interest to the field of tourism led me to change my job. Tour guiding is a colourful profession. By doing this job, you introduce your country to the guests, you work with many people and get to know their culture and learn new things for yourself, you are able to work in stressful situations, you learn to make decisions in unusual situations, and unlike many jobs, you don’t spend your day in front of a computer, in other words, you lead an active life. One of the main advantages of this job is the opportunity to communicate with different people.
During my activity in the field of tourism, I have welcomed hundreds and hundreds guests from different countries of the world and l loved to tell them about the ancient and rich history of our country, culture, interesting customs and traditions, deep literary heritage and rich national cousin of our country and I enjoy telling them about my small but very beautiful and rich country.
I have done my bachelor’s degree in English language(Azerbaijan University of Languages), and master’s degree in Linguistics(Azerbaijan University of Languages). Although I speak Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, and English languages, I conduct my guiding activities mainly in English.
I give both private and group excursions in Baku, Old city, Absheron peninsula, Gobustan preserve, Mud volcanoes, north and south zones and other regions of Azerbaijan. I am proud to introduce Azerbaijan, my country, to the guests from different parts of the world.
