Baku-Gabala-Baku high-speed train starts operating
On this occasion, the first symbolic visit organized on March 4 was attended by Tural Musayev, the Secretary General of ATGA, Ahmet Gurbanov, Deputy the Secretary General of ATAA, representatives of the State Tourism Agency, travel blogers and experts.
From March 18, it will carry out passenger transportation on the Baku-Gabala-Baku route. Tickets for the relevant route have been on sale since March 4.
A four-car, double-decker high-speed passenger train produced by the Swiss "Stadler Rail Group" company will run on the 309 km long Baku-Gabala-Baku route. The train has a total of 364 seats, including standard (294), business (61) and first class (9).
As for the schedule, the train will depart from Baku to Gabala every Saturday at 08:00, including weekends, and arrive at the station at 11:20. On the Gabala-Baku route, the train will depart every Sunday at 19:00 and arrive at Baku Railway Station at 22:20.
One-way fare on the route is 14 AZN for standard class, 31 AZN for business class, and 93 AZN for first class. Tickets from Baku Railway Station cash desks or from the official website of ADY (https://ticket.ady.az/ticket-search/) is available online.
