A webinar was held to reduce plastic waste in the tourism sector.

As a result of the joint cooperation of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a webinar was held on November 18 to reduce plastic waste in the tourism sector.

Within the framework of the webinar, a presentation entitled "Negative effects of plastic waste on the environment" by an employee of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as information about the "Global Tourism Plastic Initiative" project by representatives of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, were brought to the attention of the webinar participants.

At the meeting, information was given about the projects of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, questions of tourism representatives were answered and suggestions were heard.
