Participants completed the professional tourist guide training for the southern region were awarded with a certificate.

On September 19, the participants who successfully completed the training of professional tourist guides for the Southern region, organized by the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association and Lankaran Destination Menecment Organization (Lankaran Tourism Information Center) , were awarded with relevant certificates. The award ceremony was organized in the office of Lankaran DMO (TIC).

It should be noted that the training of tourist guides was started for the first time with the aim of training professional tourism personnel in the southern region on June 6-11 under the organization of Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association and Lankaran DMO (TIC). More than 50 participants were given both theoretical and practical knowledge at the trainings, as well as sample info tours. The training was conducted by the professional trainers of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA), the chairman of Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association, National trainer Tural Musayev and National trainer Rufat Aliev.

We would like to note that the main goal is to raise the level of professionalism of local guides, to train new guides, to attract local youth to the field of tourism and to create new job opportunities for them.
