On June 6-11, the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association and the Lankaran DMO organized the first training of tourist guides to train professional tourism personnel for the southern region. More than 50 participants were provided with both theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as exemplary information tours. The training was conducted by professional trainers Tural Musayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Tourist Guides Association, and Rufat Aliyev, WFTGA National Trainer. The main goal is to improve the professionalism of local guides, as well as to train new guides, attract local youth to tourism and create new job opportunities for them.
