My name is Terlan, I am 33 years old. I was born in 1990 in Tver, USSR. Currently, I live in Baku.
Historically, my family moved from Dagestan (Akhtinsky district) to Nukha (modern Sheki) more than 300 years ago. My mother is from Sheki, my father was born in the village of Khnov, Akhtinsky district, Republic of Dagestan. This village is located behind the mountain pass where Sheki is located. Being residents of Russia, my sister and I often went to Azerbaijan as children to visit our grandparents, who lived in Sheki and the Sheki region.
I have lived my whole life in Russia, where I studied to be a lawyer and worked in this field for 12 years. Then I decided to change everything and went to Dubai in 2020, where I started working as a tour guide. In 2022, I came to Baku and by the will of fate I stayed here and continued working as a guide in previously unknown territories. Now I have been working as a guide in Azerbaijan for almost 2 years. I fell in love with this country and Azerbaijan became my home. Then I decided to devote my entire conscious life to revealing the secrets of Azerbaijan and its beauty not only for myself, but also for our dear guests using an individual approach to each of them.
I will show guests the most interesting and beautiful places in the city of Baku, starting from the ultra-modern Heydar Aliyev Center, ending with the ancient Old City, located in the heart of the capital of Azerbaijan. Then the guests, together with me, will be able to climb the peaks of the majestic Caucasus on trolleys in Tufandag and Shahdag, where there are also all kinds of entertainment for active recreation. We will visit the settlement of ancient people, located in the deserted expanses of Gobustan, where we can also observe mini eruptions of mud volcanoes, the highest concentration of which is found only in Azerbaijan. Upon returning to Baku, we will be able to visit the ancient Temple of Fire Worshippers (Atashgah), which is more than 15 centuries old, and the Burning Mountain (Yanardag), which has been a place of annual pilgrimage for Zoroastrians for centuries. Guests will also be able to get acquainted with the endless color of Azerbaijani cuisine, our national wines, especially pomegranate wine, etc. Here and now you can enjoy the entire palette of colors of Azerbaijan. Welcome!
