I’m a tour guide Sophia Buzulukina. My tour guiding life started in 2017 when I’ve participated in Guide me in Baku – project later known as Baku Sightseeing.

Azerbaijan can be compared to the treasure chest, full of mesmerizing landscapes, varieties of national cuisine and traditions that are honored to nowadays… But the most precious jewel are people living in our country. Each historical event had huge impact on Azeri society, its culture and customs. It’s not just some history or date, but stories of living people. Every person’s story is a page in unique book named Azerbaijan.

For me, the most important part of being a guide is to show this beautiful connection between history and real life.
